Latest Bollywood Movies Destiny at The Box Office
It is really a treat with most of the latest Hindi movies faring well at the box office and offering great entertainment to the cinema lovers. Though there are a few duds that raised a lot of expectations before the release but fizzled out after their release, overall the Bollywood industry looks promising this year with the latest Bollywood movies and yet to release films.
First Quarter of 2015
The first quarter of 2015 opened up with a surprise hit in the form of Baby. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, Baby had a modest release but this movie had a very good content and the word of mouth spread helped the cash registers ringing. Hawaizaada, which also released in January had a lot of expectations but flopped miserably. Tevar was another film that did not live up to the expectations and bit the dust with a very poor rating.
Shamitabh was also one film that was talked the most with good star cast and ace director Balki but the film could not sustain itself due to poor content. Roy and Badlapur were among other notable releases in February. The expectations on Roy were skyrocketing which ended as a disaster at the box office. Badlapur was also another movie which was eagerly awaited and the movie received positive reviews as an intrinsic thriller with great plot and became a hit.
The first quarter with the latest Bollywood movies of the year ended up with a sleeper hit of both Dum Laga Ke Haisha and NH10. NH10 is an Anushka Starrer film managed to become a hit despite being criticized for its disturbing content and graphic violence.
Second Quarter of 2015
The second quarter started on a dull note. None of the films that released in April could do a decent business. Detective Byomkesh Bakshy released to positive reviews, but the film just did a below average business. May was better in terms of box office collections, with the release of Tanu Weds Manu Returns. This film generated a lot of expectations before its release and also managed to live up to the expectations after the release. Kangana Ranaut’s performance was widely appreciated and the film managed to become a huge hit.
Bombay Velvet was another highly anticipated film which sank down without a trace. The May release Piku has surpassed all expectations and despite being a low budget movie has been able to generate good revenues at the box office. With a subtle story line Piku has received both critics and public acclaims equally.
The second quarter ended with ABCD2 garnering huge collections which surprised one and all in the industry as the top grosser just behind Tanu weds Manu Returns. Dil Dhadakne Do managed to collect more than its investment but was received with mixed responses. Hamari Adhuri Kahani managed to do above average business. BahuBali the most talked about film has released in July and the epic has garnered positive reviews and may take some time to know whether it can be credited as the blockbuster of the year.
The third and fourth quarters of 2015 seem to be geared up for some interesting films like Bhajrangi Bhaijaan, Brothers, Drishyam etc that are expected to keep the cash registers ringing.

On a rail transport system, signalling control is the process by which control is exercised over train movements by way of railway signals and block systems to ensure that trains operate safely, over the correct route and to the proper timetable. Signalling control was originally exercised via a decentralised network of control points that were known by a variety of names including signal box (British), interlocking tower (North America), signal poste (France) and signal cabin. Currently these decentralised systems are being consolidated into wide scale signalling centres or dispatch offices. Whatever the form, signalling control provides an interface between the human signal operator and the lineside signalling equipment.
